Terms and Conditions – Travel 4 Good

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of your contract with Travel 4 Good, a registered trading name of The OREAS Group Pty Ltd (ACN: 679 365 818).

By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  • "You" or "your" refers to the lead-named individual on the booking, as well as all participants in the booking.

  • "We," "our," or "us" refers to Travel 4 Good.

  • "Holiday" refers to any trip, adventure, or experience booked with us.

2. Contract Formation

2.1. A contract is formed once we issue a booking confirmation and receive a deposit payment from you.

2.2. If we are unable to accept your booking, we will notify you and provide a full refund of any payment made.

2.3. This contract is subject to Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010), which guarantees consumer rights that cannot be excluded.

2.4. To confirm a booking, you must:

  • Submit a completed booking form.

  • Pay the required deposit.

2.5. We reserve the right to decline any booking without explanation. If declined, payments will be refunded within 14 days.

3. Booking on Behalf of Others

3.1. If booking on behalf of others, you confirm that you have their full authority to act on their behalf and that all participants accept these terms.

3.2. The lead traveler is responsible for ensuring all participants are informed of payment schedules, cancellation policies, and any required travel documentation.

4. Accommodation & Rooming

4.1. Standard Rooming: Accommodation is based on twin-share arrangements.

4.2. Single Occupancy: If you request single accommodation, a single supplement fee will apply.

4.3. Single-Share Program (where available):

  • If you book at least 60 days before departure, we will attempt to match you with a same-gender roommate and charge only 50% of the single supplement fee.

  • If a match is found, the remaining 50% of the single supplement fee will be refunded.

  • If no match is found, you must pay the full single supplement fee.

4.4. Single-Share is NOT available for:

  • Private or custom tours.

  • Pre- or post-tour extensions.

  • Last-minute bookings (less than 59 days before departure).

5. Inclusions & Exclusions

5.1. Your trip includes:

  • Transport between meeting and departure points (as outlined in the itinerary).

  • Accommodation and meals (as outlined in the itinerary).

  • Drinking water.

  • Services of professional guides and support staff.

5.2. Your trip does NOT include:

  • International flights (unless specifically stated).

  • Travel insurance (mandatory).

  • Visa, passport, or vaccination fees.

  • Personal expenses (laundry, souvenirs, additional meals, alcohol, shopping).

  • Gratuities (tipping is discretionary but appreciated).

6. Payment Terms

6.1. Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

6.2. Final Payment: The balance is due at least 10 weeks before departure. If not received, your booking may be cancelled.

6.3. Currency & Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices are locked in upon confirmation and are not subject to change unless new taxes, fees, or government charges apply.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1. If you cancel your trip:

  • 60+ days before departure50% of the trip cost forfeited.

  • Less than 60 days before departure100% of the trip cost forfeited (no refund).

7.2. Some trips may have additional cancellation fees (e.g., flights or permits).

7.3. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, interruptions, and medical expenses.

8. Changes & Transfers

8.1. Changes to bookings may be made subject to a $100 administration fee plus any additional costs incurred.

8.2. Transfers to another traveler must meet eligibility criteria and may incur additional costs.

9. Minimum Group Size & Cancellations by Us

9.1. Some trips require a minimum number of participants.

9.2. If we do not meet minimum numbers, we may:

  • Offer an alternative trip.

  • Provide a full refund.

9.3. Affected travelers will be notified at least 4 weeks before departure.

10. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)

10.1. All participants must have comprehensive travel insurance, covering:

  • Cancellations, delays, or interruptions.

  • Emergency medical treatment and evacuation.

  • High-altitude trekking (if applicable).

10.2. It is your responsibility to check your policy covers the altitude and activities included in your trip.

11. Medical & Fitness Requirements

11.1. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate in all activities.

11.2. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you must disclose it at the time of booking.

11.3. Our guides may request you not continue the trip if they believe it poses a safety risk.

12. Our Right to Cancel

12.1. Unforeseen Circumstances:
We reserve the right to cancel or alter a holiday at any time due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (e.g., fires, floods, earthquakes)

  • Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies (e.g., COVID-19)

  • Political instability, terrorism, or civil unrest

  • Government travel restrictions or advisories

  • Severe weather conditions

12.2. No Refunds for Force Majeure Events:
In the event of cancellation or changes due to circumstances described in 12.1, no refunds or compensation will be provided. However, we will endeavor to offer alternative travel arrangements or reschedule your booking to a future date.

12.3. Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, interruptions, and delays due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters and health emergencies.

12.4. Minor Changes:
Minor alterations to the itinerary, such as changes in accommodation or activity schedules, do not qualify for refunds or compensation.
